My responsibilities as Communications Manager at Pacific Forest Trust (PFT) include the organization’s print newsletter, Forest Life, produced annually for the last several years.

In 2018, I was able to improve the layout from the prior year’s version by taking advantage of the well-designed original templates from Conscious Creative.

In addition to laying out the publication for print, I schedule and lead an editorial meeting with senior staff; create an outline, story assignments, and thumbnail mockup; source vendors; select photos; and write and edit content. The President/Co-CEO maintains a fair amount of editorial oversight and contributes content, as do other staff.
