Minnesota DNR web redesign 2001-02
As web designer at the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR), I and three other members of the "web team" completely overhauled the web site.
When I arrived there in August 2000, the DNR site consisted of thousands of flat files. The new database-driven site boasts state-of-the-art consistency of design and ease of navigation.
I'm responsible for the graphic design, the HTML and image production, some of the information architecture, and some planning of the features of the content management system (see next page). [I left the DNR in August 2002; the basic design throughout the site remained the same for at least seven years.]
