Tangram page layouts 1997

This assignment from one of my graphic design classes at UW-Madison had very strict parameters. The design elements, copy, type styles, and grid were prescribed in advance; our main task was to create visually pleasing layouts.

We also had to devise our own "solutions" to the traditional Chinese tangram puzzle. It was an instructive exercise in resourcefulness and basic design principles, and the layouts that came out of it are, I think, solid.
