Novatech corporate identity 1998

This was a student corporate identity project for another actual company. Novatech Engineering, a one-employee startup based in Madison, Wisconsin, designs machinery for use in plastics manufacturing.

The mark I developed is clean, geometric, and strong. It evokes, to me, a piece or part of machinery, as well as the letter "N" for Novatech. The "N" is a bit of an optical illusion, derived from a stylized depiction of the edge of a gear.
